PIZZERIA SALVY

For Chef Marc Vetri, Pizzeria Salvy is a deeply personal project—a tribute to his father, Salvatore “Sal” Vetri, and to the city of Philadelphia that shaped him. The design reflects this story, creating a space that balances warmth, nostalgia, and modern craftsmanship.

The 2,228-square-foot restaurant centers on a Marra Forni brick oven, carefully assembled on-site, while hand-painted plaster walls and columns evoke the texture of leather, lending the interior a tactile, inviting quality. Seating for about 40 is thoughtfully arranged at tables and counters, fostering a sense of intimacy and connection, and blending Marc’s personal history with contemporary design in every detail.
